ALLTRUCK DRIVER TRAINING is recognised by Transport for NSW as a provider of heavy vehicle training and assessments for drivers wishing to obtain heavy vehicle driver licences.
Licence Information
An HC Licence (Heavy Combination Licence) is a legal requirement for anyone who wishes to operate an articulated vehicle with three axles or more. This licence allows drivers to drive any prime mover with a single semi-trailer, or heavy vehicle plus a single trailer greater than 9 tonnes GVM. Automatic/synchromesh and Unrestricted/Constant Mesh gearbox endorsements available

Pre-requisites to Get HC Licence
To enrol in the Heavy Combination (HR) licence training course, all participants must:
- Have held a Class MR or HR licence for a least one year. P2 licence holders cannot upgrade to this class.
- Pass an eyesight test
- Pass the HC knowledge test
- Complete the TfNSW Combination knowledge test and obtain a Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) learners logbook and guidebook
Course Content
Course Duration
Drivers upgrading to the HC licence receive up to 9 or 10 hours (depending on the applicants choice of licence restriction) of training and assessment time, for the initial course fee. If additional time is required for an applicant to reach a competent standard, a discounted rate will apply.

Our training and assessment systems satisfy the TfNSW requirements for Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA)
